This fine AMETHYST QUARTZ SCEPTER comes from the Little Gem Mine, Boulder Batholith, near Butte, Jefferson County, Montana. This large crystal has a classic scepter formation, and was collected by Bob Jackson in 2013. I purchased it from him from his SUV "showroom" in a parking lot deal at the Tucson Gem, Rock & Mineral Show.
